Please join us 11am-2pm to share your thoughts and raise the concerns you'd like Deston and Joel to raise at the second-ever Slow Meat Conference!
They want to hear from YOU - local community of farmers, consumers, and activists - before they travel to Colorado.
Deston Denniston was selected because of his work with the Olympia Vets Cafe Program, a regenerative agriculture incubator for veterans. Joel Hansen was selected because of his involvement in the Olympia Meat Collective which aims to help us all better understand meat from a butcher's perspective. They will join farmers, butchers, cooks, food policy experts from across the country to address that question of how to herd meat production toward the good, clean and fair goals of Slow Food.
