There's Nothing to See Here
Part installation, part theater performance, part exploratory workshop, There's Nothing To See Here invites audience-participants to build together on different scales, arriving at the collective creation of a space for celebration and reflection.
Using elements of storytelling, choreography and song, recycled and repurposed wood beams, aluminum siding and plexiglass, hundreds of feet of handmade hand-dyed t-shirt yarn, and the practical and imaginative resources of the assembled group, we probe our relationships to space, materials and one another.
Over the course of the three hour performance, participants will work hands-on -- lifting and carrying, sorting and piling, visioning and building with others, singing, witnessing and considering, and having real moments. Snacks will be provided!
With building materials sourced from the audience, accumulated through our artistic practice and collected through a process of borrowing, exchanging, and repurposing, groups engage hands-on to consider and compose space together and to imagine new possibilities for building and assembly.
Further instructions for your participation will follow.
