During an ostentatious wedding reception at a Knoxville, Tennessee, estate, five reluctant, identically clad bridesmaids hide out in an upstairs bedroom, each with her own reason to avoid the proceedings below.

Alan Ball (American Beauty,Six Feet Under, True Blood) authored this play early in his writing career and the NY Post described it as "An irreverent and funny look at the intricacies of friendship and the power of similar dressing."
The RMS Lab's mission is to give deserving actors from The Robert Mello Studio opportunities to perform on stage while further exploring the acting techniques taught at the studio.
