Alysian Winery's Winter Wine Dinner at Headland Center for the Arts
Alysian Winery, co-winemaker Woody Hambrecht, and Chef Miles Thompson of Healdsburg-based SHED, team up for the inaugural Alysian wine dinner at Headlands Center for the Arts. This multi-course, family style meal will be rooted in SHED's farm-to-table ethos, paired with Alysian's renowned collection of wines and held in the historic and uniquely beautiful Headlands' Mess Hall, creating what will undoubtedly be both a cultural and culinary experience not to be missed. Alysian Winery is a family winery with a strong focus on Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. With fruit sourced from only the best vineyards in the Russian River Valley, Alysian's award-winning wines strike a delicate balance with flavor profiles that delight both connoisseurs and newcomers alike. Miles Thompson, originally from New York City, headed West to make his mark in LA, spending time at famed restaurants including NOBU and Animal before being named one of Zagat's 30 Under 30 Best Innovative Young Chefs. He recently made the move to Sonoma County to lead the culinary program at SHED in Healdsburg. Headlands Center for the Arts is a multidisciplinary, international arts center dedicated to supporting artists; the creative process; and the development of new, innovative ideas and artwork. As a proud supporter of the arts, Alysian Winery is the 2015 sponsor of the Artist in Residency program at Headlands Center for the Arts.
