Cantor Arts Field Trip
We will be visiting the Early European, Contemporary, Rodin and Stanford Galleries at the Cantor Arts Museum for a docent-led tour.
Dining at the Cantor --------------------- Tour groups are welcome to enjoy food and drink outside the museum on the picnic tables in the Rodin Sculpture Garden on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that the Cool Cafe is best suited for small groups of 4 or fewer people. Groups larger than that may not be accommodated, particularly during the lunch rush (noon to 2pm). The Cool Cafe does not accept to-go orders or reservations from tour groups, and no groups with outside food or drink are permitted inside the Cool Cafe or on its outdoor terrace.
Chaperones ----------- The museum requires that we separate groups in advance into groups of 10 students, and requires that all students wear nametags, which we will provide upon check-in. We will do our best to separate by age but also respect family requests to stay together if needed. Please sign up as a chaperone so that we know how many people to expect.
Special Needs or Disabilities ------------------------------ The Cantor is fully accessible to those with special needs or disabilities. If this applies to anyone in your group, please let us know so that we are prepared for your arrival. Parking Enclosed is a map showing limited metered parking areas. We recommend carpooling. Buses may drop groups off and proceed to bus parking areas off Campus Drive at Stock Farm Road or Bonair Siding.
The Museum will be open from 11am-8pm on the day of our tour. It is FREE to the public, and families are welcome to enjoy the museum on their own after the tour.
Additional Notes from Cantor Arts Museum ----------------------------------------- All backpacks, large purses or bags, packages, lunches, rain gear, and other large or unwieldy items must be left on the bus or in cars or checked at the entrance to the center.
