Young Diplomats Etiquette and Leadership Seminar (ages 8 - 13)
In a world where texting is king and fact-to-face conversation is practically a thing of the past, ELII offers its seven-week etiquette and leadership seminar for "Young Diplomats" (ages 8 13) beginning Saturday, February 28, to April 11, 2015. This seminar will address social skills as we take this group and challenge them to learn skills that will not only build their self-esteem and confidence, but also their maturity, independence, and accountability as they learn how to think before they speak. We will also take a look into and relate to the world of the six-R's (ROA, ROC, ROD, ROE, ROI, ROT and Risk Management). Students will be given the opportunity to accept the $2.00 stock challenges (during the financial awareness session), figure out the value of a dollar, along with how to calculate their own value to society and the value to themselves. In addition, we will focus on dressing for success (with one of Indianapolis's leading Men's and Women's Clothier), and fine dining skills keeping in mind; no one likes to sit next to a slob!
