Bourbon Barrel Aged Pirate's Breakfast Beer Release
DESCRIPTION:
Council Brewing is proud to announce the release of our third bottle and barrel aged beer. We fermented and aged one of our flagship beers, "Pirate's Breakfast", an Imperial Oatmeal Stout, in four Buffalo Trace Bourbon Barrels for 6 months. The final blend presents a smooth balance of chocolate, vanilla, oak, bourbon, spice, and dark fruit characteristics. This beer is bottle conditioned to allow for increased complexity as the beer ages.
BOTTLE PURCHASE DETAILS:
Beginning on January 6, 2015 at 2:00 PM, you will be able to purchase up to (6) bottles of Pirate's Breakfast bomber style 22 oz bottles.
.50 CALIBER BOTTLE OPENER PRE-SALE
We recently partnered with Bullets2Bandages to offer a BBA Pirate's Breakfast branded bottle opener in matte black finish. The reverse side has Council Brewing's logo. If you've seen these bottle openers around town, you know they often go for about $25; we're pre-selling them for $18. Bullets2Bandages is a veteran owned company and 15% of their profits goes to support veteran charities.
BOTTLE PICKUP DETAILS
You may pick up your bottle(s) and bottle openers (if applicable) beginning at the Release Party on Saturday, January 17, 2015 through Saturday, February 14th during regular Tasting Room Hours (see www.councilbrew.com for tasting room hours).
Any bottles not picked up by Saturday, February 14th 2015 will be surrendered back to Council Brewing Co.

RELEASE PARTY:
We will be hosting a release party on Saturday, January 17, 2015 throughout the entire day (11AM-10PM) as our first event for the New Year. We will have a keg of BBA Pirate's Breakfast along with the base beer on tap that day. (Tasters of draft BBA Pirate's Breakfast are sold separately and not included in purchase price of bottles.)
ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
Please use your name when purchasing the bottles. Only you may pick up the bottles. PROXIES are NOT allowed. You may not purchase bottles under another person's name. To retrieve your bottles, you will be required to show your proof of purchase (your "Brown Paper Tickets" ticket) and/or valid ID valid ID for the purchase of alcohol and to ensure your name matches to your bottle purchase. Must be 21+ years of age to purchase alcohol.
REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES:
Please note that we will not issue refunds, exchanges, or returns. All sales are final.
SHIPPING:
Council Brewing will not ship the bottles. Bottles must be retrieved at the tasting room during regular tasting room hours.
