GGRD Weekend Boot Camp

Are you a bouting skater who wants to take it to the next level? Our full-contact Boot Camps consist of on- and off-skates classes, followed by open scrimmaging. Instruction covers a full range of roller derby topics including jamming, blocking, strategy and advanced skating skills.

All camps are staffed by members of our coaching committee, which includes members of the five-time reigning WFTDA champions, the Gotham Girls Roller Derby All-Stars. Learn from elite coaches such as Bonnie Thunders, Suzy Hotrod, OMG WTF, Ariel Assault, Fisher Twice (formerly Slambda Phage), Roxy Dallas, Vicious Van GoGo, Puss 'N' Glutes and Raggedy Animal, plus some Gotham Girls All-Stars Special Guests!

Training times over the two days will comprise 10 hours, including scrimmage time on Sunday.

GGRD Boot Camps are designed for skaters who already know how to play roller derby. They are open ONLY to female skaters (18 and over) who have passed their WFTDA Skills Tests and have been placed on a team in an existing league. If you are new to derby, are Fresh Meat, or are an unaffiliated skater, we offer Basic Training classes for beginning skaters.

All skaters must provide proof of WFTDA or USARS insurance.

COSTS:
Full weekend (Sat & Sun) $250
Full weekend with 6+ skaters from the same league $150 per attendee*
Single day pass (Sat OR Sun) $125
