The Words Beats & Life Academy is a pre-vocational after-school Hip-Hop program for youth ages 13-23 in Washington, DC. We engage students interested in hip-hop culture by cultivating an excitement for learning in a non-traditional learning community. We providing instruction in the five core elements of hip-hop: DJing/Beat Production, Emceeing, B-boying, Graffiti, and Knowledge of Self.
All City is where the Washington, DC community gets to see where all of this hard work come to fruition!
Enjoy a FREE showcase of Art, DJ'ing, Break-dancing, and MC'ing courtesy of the academy staff and students!
This event will be held on Wednesday, December 17th at the Gala Theater 3333 14th ST NW, Washington DC, 20010.
Doors open at 6:30pm!
