| Description |
The First Annual Farm Fresh Feast, May 8, 2010
What is it?
An event to celebrate the local farm fresh bounty of Solano County and a fundraiser for Solano Land Trust. It will be held outdoors at Dixon Ridge Farms, a certified organic walnut orchard owned by Russ Lester near Winters, CA. This delicious, family-style, sit down, four course meal, will be prepared by Executive Chef Lauren Kiino of Cane Rosso restaurant in San Francisco, using locally sourced ingredients. The orchard is a green operation, generating much of its own power using solar and walnut shells. Come see how. Dance to a dynamite band, Joe Krohn and The Dirty Water Blues Band, and enjoy handicap accessible horse and wagon rides provided by Access Adventure. We will also have prominent farm and food experts in attendance. PLEASE JOIN US-YOU'LL HAVE A GREAT TIME!
