The German Motet
In Western music, motet is a word that is applied to a number of highly varied choral musical compositions. The SSU Chorus, Chamber Singers and Bach Choir, under the direction of Robert Worth, come together to perform German Motets by Heinrich Schutz, J.S. Bach and Johannes Brahms spanning three centuries. The performances are part of the Sonoma County Early Music Festival.
