Third Annual Harney Benefit Auction

Harney Elementary School, located in the heart of Vancouver, is a Title I school whereby approximately 65% of our student body receives free or reduced lunch.  The teachers at Harney strive to give each of our students a successful elementary school education.  However, as we are all aware, excellent education costs money.  One of the main sources of funding that Harney teachers rely on is the funds they receive from our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).  Our PTO's primary fundraiser is an annual benefit auction and dinner.

We will be using the proceeds from this year's auction to promote a mission of Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds at Harney.  Research has demonstrated that physical activity increases academic performance and improves behavior.  By supporting our students overall wellbeing, we will open doors to new opportunities and experiences, which can ultimately serve as a pathway out of poverty. Please join in supporting us as we eliminate barriers to educational success and create a climate of learning at Harney!

This year's event will be held on Friday, March 27th at the Heathman Lodge and will include both a silent and live auction.
