Slow Food Coffee Tasting and Education Class

Spend an afternoon learning about and appreciating the art of coffee! Local North Park roaster and coffee bar, Caffe Calabria, will host a special coffee class for Slow Food members on Saturday, February 20 from 2 to 5 p.m. Caffe Calabria's Annalyn Lehnig will share her knowledge of coffee history, along with proper espresso preparation and milk texturing. Attendees will also sample coffee drinks, learn about the coffee tasting technique known as cupping and will be able to observe the cafe roast a batch of their renowned coffee beans. Class size is limited to 25 people and is $15 for Slow Food members, $20 for non-members.
