The Black Brothers Band
There's no better way to get in a merry mood for St. Patrick's Day than by spending an enchanted evening with Shay and Michael Black, the singing siblings from Ireland's first family of song. Hailed in 'The Irish Echo' as 'one of the most impressive groups of Irish singers to be found anywhere... exquisite, exhilarating and nothing short of thrilling,' the Blacks adroitly accompany their sheer joy of singing traditional and contemporary songs and lively on-stage banter with guitar and banjo. In concert they are joined by Brian Seet on keyboards, Myra Joy on cello, Bobbi Nikles on fiddler and Irish stepdancer Aisling Roche. With their sisters, Mary and Frances and brother Martin, Shay and Michael have released a trio of Black Family recordings, with Martin, a Black Brothers CD, Michael has an acclaimed 'solo' album and Shay bacame a YouTube sensation with 'The Ballad of Barack O'Bama.'
