| Description |
Broadway veteran Cindy Robinson will star in Andrew Lloyd Webber's SONG AND DANCE. Composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber with lyrics by Don Black, additional lyrics by Richard Maltby, Jr., this Broadway musical was produced in London as Tell Me On A Sunday and expanded into a show titled Song and Dance before opening in New York starring Bernadette Peters who won the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical.
Cindy Robinson is a veteran of Into The Woods, Peter Pan and Carousel on Broadway and is living in Los Angeles where she is a much sought after voice over artist. She returns to her stage roots in this tour de force performance as Emma, the English girl who comes to New York to find fame, fortune and love.
Song and Dance, Tell Me On A Sunday is a unique theatre piece. It is a universal coming of age story written as a monologue told in song. Originally written as an English television special starring Marti Webb the show has gone through many incarnations and stars such as Bernadette Peters, Betty Buckley, and Melissa Manchester.
