The Last Five Years

Jason Robert Brown's contemporary musical The Last Five Years tells the emotionally powerful story of two twenty-something New Yorkers who dive head first into a marriage fueled by the optimism that comes with finding "the one." But in a city where professional and personal passions collide and only the strongest relationships survive, navigating the waters of love and matrimony can sometimes prove too much. Funny, honest and intimate, with an exuberantly romantic score, The Last Five Years takes a bold look at one young couple's hope that love endures the test of time.

Ethan Park as Jamie

Ethan is so thrilled to bring The Last 5 Years to the stage! He is currently finishing his B. A. in Theatre Performance from California Baptist University after a yearlong international and domestic tour with Missoula Children's Theatre, teaching and performing theatre with children. Some of his favorite credits include: The Fantasticks as "Matt," Forever Plaid as "Francis," Macbeth as "Malcolm," and Beauty and the Beast as "LeFou."

Kelsie Piini as Cathy

Kelsie is a senior studying Theatre at California Baptist University. Her favorite roles include: Bare: A Rock Opera as "Nadia McConnell", Little Women as "Aunt March", Our Town as "Mrs. Gibbs" and Will Rogers Follies as "Z's Favorite."
Other credits include directing the recent workshop production of Extraordinary: A New Musical.

Sarah Sabella - Technical Director

Sarah is a senior Theatre Major at California Baptist University from Corona, CA. Her previous theatrical credits include: The Spitfire Grill, Stage Manager, Eurydice, Set Designer, Songs for a New World, Properties Master and It's a Wonderful Life, Technical Director.

The Last Five Years contains mature themes and language. It may not be suitable for children.
