SMCO Presents: Appalachian Spring
St. Stephen's Episcopal Church Seattle, WA
Seattle Weekly described the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra's Opening Gala performance as "bold" and "impressive," praising the ensemble's sound as "stirring and gorgeous." On March 6th at 7:30 PM, don't miss Seattle's young virtuosi perform an American classic, Copland's Appalachian Spring Suite, in its original chamber version. Two baroque masterpieces round out a program that is sure to inspire those of all musical tastes: Handel's famous D major Water Music and Bach's Fourth Brandenburg Concerto. St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Laurelhurst is the beautiful setting for this performance, easily accessible from NE 45th Street in North Seattle. Tickets remain the unbeatably low price of $10 general admission, $8 students and seniors.
