Alchemy

Koreshakti Tribal Fusion has taken their previous work to a whole new level. The dance company,that has been characterized by their unconventional and edgy choreography,have launched a new production which will debut on The Interplayers Theater stage featuring a new script by creative director Nicole Richardson-with an score by Kama Shivaya. The band will be on stage playing their unique blend of dark ambience, trip-hop and world music live.
"Alchemy" takes the previous work of both performance groups-and blends it seamlessly with a variety of performance disciplines-from actors-to break dancers-to magicians.
Plague and famine burden the populace. Two groups approach survival from radically different points of view. But a legend forces them to conflict. Who wins? Is it the isolationist holy men and women of The Rochukirshans? The wild, and superstitious forest clan, The Progeny? Or will the grim breath of death overtake them all?
Alchemy is brought to you proudly by Koreshakti Tribal Fusion, and Kama Shivaya.
Also features performances by Spokanes' very own Tangled Roots Dance Co., Chastitie Lujann of Goddess Arts Academy, Medea, Mathew Van Zee, A'isha Azar, Yasmin Edwards, Namva Chan, Nefabit, Zarina, Mathew Clave, and The Divine Jewels!
