BIG BLUES BASH- SEND LADY BIANCA & TERRIE ODABI TO MEMPHIS
Bay Area legend Lady Bianca has won the solo/duo category and Terrie Odabi won the band competition in the International Blues Challenge locals. There are many expenses involved in the 5 day event in Memphis. Several area blues greats including HowellDevine, Alvon Johnson, Aki Kumar, Paula Harris, Jon Lawton and Wendy DeWitt are joining in what is certain to be a phenomenal fundraising celebration. There will be a VIP happening featuring exquisite Southern Cuisine and music preceding the concert. This is taking place in the beautiful Plymouth Church of Jazz & Justice in Oakland, renown for amazing acoustics. Parking is not difficult and there are bus lines at the corner.
