Lend Me a Tenor
Town and Country Players Buckingham, PA
This high energy farce is set in 1934 as the world famous tenor Tito Morelli, better known as Il Stupendo, is about to perform Otello at the season opener of the Cleveland Grand Opera. Through a series of mishaps, the evening speeds into absurdity when Il Stupendo passes out from a tranquilizer and the plot twists and turns as the company tries to cover up the fact that their mega-star wont be singing. A three-time Tony winner, Lend Me A Tenor is replete with mistaken identity, plot twists and double entendres that will leave you teary-eyed with laughter.
