Taste of India Pairing Event at Coby's, Cobleskill
An exciting menu filled with surprise:
Course 1:
Tandoori Duck Samosas
Tender tandoori duck breast, potatoes, peas and spices, wrapped in flour
Pastry and deep fried.
Served with mint and tamarind chutneys.
Course 2:
Saag Paneer
Fried paneer cheese, spinach, tomatoes, chilis, and an aromatic blend of spices.
Served with naan bread.
Course 3:
Dry Curry Shrimp
Jumbo shrimp, dredged in classic curry spices, sauteed and finished with lemon and ghee (butter).
Served with basmati rice pilaf.
Course 4:
Pork Vindaloo
A centuries old indian dish, perfected by the introduction of vinegar by european settlers. Marinated pork slow cooked in a tomato, tamarind and vinegar reduction.
Served with spicy yellow dhal.
Course 5:
Mango Sorbet
Served with fresh berries and sweet naan chips.
