Community Costume Swap
Join Cherry Valley Macaroni Kid for our first ever Costume Swap event! Costume drop offs start on Saturday and continue through Friday, October 10th. See below for the dates, locations and drop off times.
I've partnered with Grow With Me Boutique and their fabulous space to host the free swap event on Saturday, October 11th from 2-4PM.
A costume swap is a great way to reuse gently-used kid's Halloween costumes and dress up clothes and save parents a lot money. Here are some basic rules for the swap:
--Accepting all sizes of costumes from infant to elementary school-aged
--MUST be gently worn/used with no visible tears or stains
--If you wouldn't take it at a swap, then it's probably not swap-able!
--Unwanted costumes will be donated
--If you don't have a costume to swap, you can still come and shop with a $5 donation for each costume
There are three convenient locations to drop off your swap-able costumes:
Monroe: Grow With Me Boutique (19575 SR 2 - next to Ben Franklin Crafts): October 4th & 6th-10th from 10am-6pm & Oct 5th from 11am-4pm
Duvall: Duvall Print & Post (14030 Main St NE, Suite E - next to Safeway): October 4th-5th from 9am-5pm & October 6th-10th from 8am7pm
Carnation: Millers Carnation (4797 Tolt Ave): Oct 4th from 10:30am4pm & October 7th-10th from 10:30am6pm
In exchange for your costume(s) you will be given a Swap Ticket to be brought back for the event (hosted by Grow With Me Boutique) on October 11th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. You will receive one swap ticket for each costume you drop off. During the event, participants will also be treated to a 20% discount on all Grow With Me Boutique merchandise; that's right, you can swap and then shop! Be sure to stop in next door to Ben Franklin Crafts for a special Halloween make 'n take craft after you've shopped. Expect a few surprises from Macaroni Kid, too!
