Getting Started with Knitting: a 2-part Workshop
Getting Started with Knitting - a 2-part workshop 2 Saturdays: November 8 & 15 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm Learn to knit at the library! In this 2-part workshop, you will learn how to cast on, knit, purl, bind off, increase and decrease stitches and read a knitting pattern. You'll receive one-on-one, hands-on instruction from Rita Gardner, knitting instructor, and will choose a project of your own (dishcloth, hat or scarf) to work on after the classes end. Students will need to bring a pair of knitting needles (US #9, 10" length). Registration begins October 1. Cost: $5 for 2 classes.
