Event
New Works: Tze Chun Dance Company
'Parlour Games' examines our current culture of entertainment by investigating victorian parlor games of the late 18th century. 'Phase Vidcoder v2.0' is an audio-video collaboration between TCDC and composer Daniel Iglesia, who utilizes cutting-edge technology to create multi-media performances using live video feed of dancers. In the experimental work 'Out and About,' choreographer Tze Chun explores modern-day limits of inhibition and privacy. Dancers consume actual alcohol over the course of the 28-minute work and toy with the real effects of alcohol and its consequences both physical and social.
Performed by: Jules Bakshi, Tony Bordonaro, Tze Chun, Elisa Davis, Eileen Farrell, Meghan Frederick, Renuka Hines, Seth Miner, Katherine Richardson, Dana Thomas, and Ilana Webber
