Shasta, CA and Tucson, AZ, internationally acclaimed multi- instrumentalist Gentle Thunder, along with 2005 GRAMMY nominees, multi-percussionist Will Clipman and, multi-instrumentalist AmoChip Dabney, will return to Santa Cruz to offer a musical evening beyond words on Sunday December 3, 2006, 7:30 pm at Kuumbwa Jazz Center in Santa Cruz, CA. Their CD release tour began in Santa Cruz to an outrageously warm, near capacity crowd.

On her recently released third album, BEYOND WORDS, and in live performance, Gentle Thunder weaves magical grand hammer dulcimer and Native American flutes (at times playing both instruments at once) periodically returning to her vibrant musical roots on drum set as Will exquisitely holds the earthy pulse on his pan-global palette of percussion and Amo improvises masterfully on piano, bass guitar, and soprano saxophone. Receiving rave reviews, the new album charts #5 in the New Age Reporter Top 100 and has been NOMINATED BEST CONTEMPORARY INSTRUMENTAL ALBUM at the 2006 Indian Summer Music Awards in Milwaukee, WI and currently on the first ballot for the this years GRAMMY AWARDS - BEST NEW AGE ALBUM.
