What: Every year American society finds a reason to shed the skin of days past with a mind blowing party the wrecks the body and the mind with heavy drinking, loud laughing and intense dancing. This reason is called New Years Eve. High Dive, Fremonts newest music venue and only Rock Club has organized a night of party music unlike any other by bringing to the stage three of the Emerald Cities most notorious party bands, Supersonic Soul Pimps, Mountain Con and Cancer Rising.
Supersonic Soul Pimps blend different styles of music into entire new direction and create audio hybrids fresh as AmsterdamÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂs finest. People have said that if Devo and George Clinton had kids it would be a bastard child with the attitude of Mr. Bungle. Either way the music they create possesses a stunning, original sound that makes you want to throw the worries off your back so you can free yourself to dance.
Sharing the stage on this night are some other Seattle staples, Mountain Con and Cancer Rising. Mountain Con is not easily defined, as their sound is truly a creation derived from the influences of its individual players. The bass lays down infectious, ambient grooves that call the listener to the dance floor while guitars and drums push it into over drive with a more signature Seattle rock sound. Finally, Cancer Rising will round out this bill with their heavy hitting hip-hop throw down party sound. This show is not to be missed and is expected to sell out. Get your tickets now.
