Washington Women in Trades is delighted to present Laura Love with a full-band, playing a dance show for the first time since in Seattle since Ballard SeafoodFest 2004! Yes, you may have seen her in an intimate acoustic sit-down performance, but it's time to strap on those struttin slippers, cause this ones gonna be like old times, with that trademark funky bass and all out yodel. Band members Rod Cook, Jen Todd and Chris Leighton will help Laura celebrate her new release, The Sweeter the Juice, an earthy collection of songs with Orville Johnson. Showtime is 9:30pm at the Lake City Elks Club, 14540 Bothell Way NE in North Seattle, an incredibly cool, hep-cat hall that screams Sinatra, martinis and bouffant hair.
