Battle and Beauty - Portland Gay Symphonic Band

A community concert band, the Portland Gay Symphonic Band rehearses and performs from September through May each year. We present a mix of serious symphonic to lighter pops literature for the delight of our audience. Please join us at 8pm on Nov 14th for "Battle and Beauty" at Kaul Auditorium on the Reed College Campus in SE Portland, which will feature a guest performance by the NW Fusion dance company. Music will include "Selections from My Fair Lady", the whimsical "Fantasy Variations on a Theme by Paganini", the intense "Symphony #1" by Bukvich and the rousing "Commando March" by Barber.
