THE LINNAEAN LIBATION LEAGUE'S OKTOBERFEST CELEBRATION
Brooklyn Botanic Garden Brooklyn, NY
Brooklyn Botanic Garden's Linnaean Libation League reconvenes Oct. 22 for an Oktoberfest celebration with craft beer, artisanal food, and a discussion of the botanicals behind the brews with BBG's director of Science, Dr. Gerry Moore, in conversation with New Yorker magazine writer Burkhard Bilger.
On tap will be an array of craft beer: Thomas Hooker's Octoberfest Lager, Dogfish Head's Punkin Ale, Smuttynose's Star Island Single, and Doc's Draft Hard Apple Cider. All will be paired with cheeses from Sprout Creek Farm, and Rick's Picks and Z Crackers will round out the small bites.
Tickets include all food and drink.
All guests must present ID to gain entry. Enter at 1000 Washington Avenue, near Eastern Parkway 2/3 to Eastern Parkway/Brooklyn Museum or B/Q to Prospect Park. Bike parking is available.
