Bare! True Stories of Sex, Desire and Romance brings together storytellers, comedians, sex educators and others to share true tales from their own experiences of sex, desire and romance. With stories as diverse as the people telling them, Bare! opens doors to bedrooms, back seats and dungeons to tell what your mama left out about the birds, bees and in-betweens.

Jefferson is the curator and host of Bare!, regularly in Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. A sex educator and writer, Jefferson keeps a pseudonymous blog, One Life, Take Two, that details his life as a parent and pervert. He is a storyteller frequently seen on stages around New York and elsewhere, including The Moth, where he is a StorySLAM winner. He is also host of Foreplay! A Sexy Storytelling Open Mic, biweekly in New York.
Lynn Bixenspan is really nice! Also, she's done a lot of stuff. Like, she's been on MTV, Comedy Central, and the Biography Channel (Celebrity Ghost Stories). She's also written for Fuse and Wizard Entertainment and a whole bunch of ad campaigns, including Viagra, which is the least funny thing she's ever done. She was nominated for an Emerging Comics of New York Award, but isn't sure if she's emerged yet. You might have heard her on RISK! or seen her telling stories and doing stand-up around town. Her one-person show, Unmolested?, recently appeared at the Plus One Theater Festival. Most importantly, Joss Whedon follows her on Twitter, so you should, too.
Carolyn Castiglia is a comedian, television personality and writer. She appears regularly as a talking head on HLN, and has made many memorable cameos on cable networks including VH1, MTV, Comedy Central, Food and more. You may have seen her as NickMom's Ultimate Sports Mom, or in her recent appearance on Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best? on WE. Carolyn has been making web content since 1949, but highlights include essays on Jezebel and Babble, as well as appearing in and singing on The Key of Awesome parodies that have millions and millions of hits. She lives with her incredible daughter in Brooklyn.
Charlie Gaeta has been a comedian for over ten years in the city. He has written for the Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update, the New York Friars Club Roast and had a sex diary published in New York Magazine.
"Beautiful Weirdo, Professional Shitshow" Üla Überbusen is an award-winning burlesque performer, emcee, ukulele strummer, teacher and professional actress based in New York. She produces and hosts Victrola Burlesque, Tainted Cabaret at The Slipper Room, and the Mason Dixie Burlesque Tour. When not on stage performing theater and burlesque, she teaches her Storytelling through Burlesque workshops to aspiring performers. Üla holds a BFA in Acting from the University of Miami and studied with the Shakespeare Theater Company and the New York School of Burlesque.
