June Garber and the Sarasota Jazz Project
The "Sarasota Jazz Project" is a high energy 17 piece jazz ensemble comprised of some of the finest musicians on the West Coast of Florida. These talented all-stars play both original compositions and the standards, creatively arranged in a unique contemporary big band style. The Sarasota Jazz Project's goal is to bring classic jazz tunes with fresh arrangements focusing on musicianship and unique arrangements.
June Garber is delighted to be back in Sarasota and singing with the Jazz Project Band. Whether singing with a symphony orchestra, a big band, a small jazz group or with a fabulous pianist in an intimate club setting, June always manages to connect with her audience. Her CD "Here's to You" was one of the top 5 Jazz picks on CBC and one of the most played jazz album on radio in Canada!
