Prithwish, a Bengali from Eastern India, grew up in the kitchen where his grandmother regularly cooked six course meals for their extended family.  As her official taster, he developed a palette that favored freshness & simplicity.  Lime, coconut, green papaya, & pumpkin flowers accent his food.  Prithwish's passion and love for sharing his native food and culture emerges from a desire to provide a transient and ephemeral gift.  When Prithwish cooks, you are transported to Bengal: a verdant landscape colored by great rivers, meandering streams, and lush fields of rice paddy.  Here your meal is experienced at a leisurely pace where art, song, and sensation are one. Please join us on this very special occasion, rare for us in our beloved foothills, this 19th & 20th of September.

A world of wealth, grains, flowers.  Made of dreams, shaped of earth.

"Banglar Panna aar Manna" translates to: "Jewels and Essence of Bengal"
