Hail, Bright Cecilia!
Foundry United Methodist Church Houston, TX
The Houston Chamber Choir is pleased to join once again with the outstanding instrumentalists of Ars Lyrica, hailed as Houstons leading early music ensemble by the Houston Chronicle. This collaboration celebrates the 350th birthday of the great English composer Henry Purcell. The program includes works for strings, trumpet and choir, and culminates in his extravagant ode to the patron saint of music, Hail, Bright Cecilia.
