SCMS Presents Mundi
First Presbyterian Church Austin, TX
Friday, April 30, 2010 8:00 pm Mundi In concert and on their recordings, Mundi a quintet from Austin moves easily between the worlds of folk, classical, and rock music. With violin, cello, bass, guitar, and orchestral percussion, they create a sound that is rich, celebratory, and very much their own. Mundi offers a mixture of European folk music, some from medieval times, and compositions by the group's founder, Darrel Mayers. They call it a modern harvest of ancient sounds.
Note: This concert is presented at First Presbyterian Church of Austin, located slightly to the south of the junction of Spicewood Springs Road and Mesa Drive in northwest Austin.
