Hope & Healing 2014

Over the past five years, Hope & Healing has become an increasingly popular cultural celebration, and this year will be no exception. As a recognized event in the Bay Area, we have identified the best performers our community has to offer.

In recent years, Hope & Healing has celebrated the healing properties of music. However, we at Instituto know that it takes many medicines to heal us. This year, we offer you the restorative medicine of laughter. To make the audience roar with laughter, Hope & Healing 2014 will feature Nuyorican comedian, author, television host and commentator Bill Santiago.

Acclaimed for his television performances on Comedy Central and weekly comedic commentary on CNN, Santiago also authored the best-selling book "Pardon My Spanglish." Ready to bring his infectious and entertaining humor to this year's event, Bill Santiago will headline Hope & Healing 2014 on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at the San Francisco Design Center.

The goal of Hope & Healing is to support the needs of our community's children, youth, and families. With your support, we are able to provide trauma recovery and reunification services for Latino immigrant families, violence prevention and intervention services for at-risk youth, and stabilizing mental health services for adults.
