The Tempest on Franconia Island
A wildly inventive production of The Tempest performed in the sculpture exhibition at Franconia Sculpture Park!
Twin Cities theatre greats Harry Waters, Jr. and Barbra Berlovitz are teaming up to co-direct a racially diverse cast in William Shakespeare's "The Tempest" at Franconia Sculpture Park. This epic tale of love, magic, and forgiveness is made larger-than-life by the sculptures at Franconia Sculpture Park, the setting for the show.
Staged throughout Franconia's sculpture exhibition, this epic tale of love, magic, and forgiveness is made larger-than-life by the setting at Franconia. The Tempest on Franconia Island promises to be one of the most energetic and imaginative Shakespeare productions you've ever seen!
ARRIVE BY 6PM. Showtime 6:30 PM to Sundown. RAIN OR SHINE.
The performance offers a roving adventure around the sculpture exhibition. You will walk approximately 1/2 mile during the performance. Please wear comfortable walking shoes, bring blankets or easy to move lawn chairs, and plan for the weather to be your most comfortable. Do let us know if you require any special considerations.
