Charles Chocolates Speaker Series with David Lebovitz
On September 24th, famed pastry chef David Lebovitz, the author of highly praised books such as Room For Dessert, Ripe For Dessert, The Great Book of Chocolate and The Perfect Scoop, will join Charles Chocolates for our ongoing Speaker Series. David's culinary education includes training in the pastry department of Alice Waters world-famous restaurant Chez Panisse in Berkeley, California for over twelve years to learning the art of chocolate at Callebaut College in Belgium and Ecole du Grand Chocolat Valrhona in Tain lHermitage, and advanced coursework in baking and the art of confectionery at the renowned Ecole Lentre in Paris.
David's latest book, The Sweet Life in Paris, is a food-based memoir, filled with humorous and delicious stories about Paris with French-inspired recipes that are both sweet and savory. Please join us as David shares his experiences from Paris and speaks about his passion for pastry and chocolate.
