Slow Food Eugene Dinner and Tour at Berggren Demonstration Farm
Join Slow Food Eugene and Willamette Farm and Food Coalition at the Berggren Demonstration Farm for farm and riparian habitat area tours and a delicious Slow Food meal!

Thursday, September 4th
4-7:30pm

The Berggren Demonstration Farm is a 30-acre working farm located along the lower McKenzie River. The farm is managed by Cascade Pacific RC&D, in partnership with the McKenzie River Trust and Eugene Water & Electric Board.  

Recognizing the important connection between healthy farms and clean water in the McKenzie River Valley, the farm strives to conserve and enhance the soil, water, plant and animal resources. Their produce is grown using organic practices and their livestock are humanely raised with access to sun, fresh air and pasture, without hormones or antibiotics.

On Thursday September 4th, there will be two opportunities to take a 30 minute tour of the farm and/or the larger riparian habitat area with Berggren staff. The Slow Food dinner will highlight Berggren Farm's Pekin Ducks and vegetables in a delicious ragout.

4:15pm - First round of tours
5:00pm - Second round of tours
5:45pm - Dinner is served

Please bring your own plates and tableware.

Green salad (Turnip the Beet)
