Dia de los Muertos: A Celebration of Life Supporting Global Links

We're marking Global Links' 25th Anniversary with a very special Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Party. Please join us as we celebrate the traditions of this joyous Mexican holiday.

In Mexico, November 1st is a day of celebration and remembrance of departed loved ones. We'll be honoring these traditions with an evening of food, cocktails, art and entertainment.

Enjoy delicious cuisine from La Palapas, Edgar's famous tacos, and Gabriela's Catering. Scoop up some Cinco de Mayo dips and salsas, Mad Mex wings and treat yourself to dessert from Allegro Hearth.

We'll also be serving up your favorite cervezas, delicious vino and wickedly good spiked punch poured through an icy skull.

Arrive in your most extravagant costume or dress in the Dia de los Muertos colors of orange, red, white, yellow, purple or pink and pay homage to passed loved ones at Global Links' altar honoring and celebrating those who have come before us.

Get up close and personal with a vulture thanks to the National Aviary. Join in the tradition of decorating a sugar skull by La Escuelita Arcoiris and silk screen a DdlM t-shirt or scarf.

Have your photo taken in the Selfie Studios photo booth, sit for an astrology reading with Judi Vitale, and dance the night away in our warehouse-turned-happening-lounge with an all-vinyl soundtrack from DJ Wayne Smith.
