Contemporary Dance by Dance Theater International
Dance Theatre International and San Jose Youth Ballet founder and Artistic Director Maggie Parungao-Ferla presents outstanding contemporary dances featuring a culturally diverse group of male and female professionals from the Bay Area. Born in the Philippines, Ferla has danced with the San Francisco Ballet, Bejart Ballet in Switzerland and the Hamburg Ballet in Germany. She has worked with internationally acclaimed choreographers such as Maurice Bejart, John Neumier, Helgi Tomasson, William Forsythe, David Bintley, and Mats Ek, performing in world premiere pieces. Families welcome and children under 3 are free!
