PIGHAMPTON, the Slow Food East End/NYC Pig Roast
Hayground School Bridgehampton, NY
Pighampton, the fourth annual Pig Roast, co-sponsored by the Slow Food East End and New York City chapters, is on at the Hayground School in Bridgehampton on the South Fork of Long Island. And, it doesn't get more local than this..acquaculturist Karen Rivara's Raw Bar of Peconic Pearl and Mystic oysters and local clams, Harry Ludlow's Fairview Farm heritage breed pigs, roasted low and slow by Foody's "pig master", Chef Bryan Futterman, and of course, the great wines of Paumanok Vineyards, poured by winemaker, Kareem Massoud. There will be live music and an exciting raffle too. Proceeds from this event will support the programs and activities of Slow Food East End and Slow Food NYC.
Note: Proceeds from the Fourth Annual Slow Food East End and New York City Pig Roast will benefit the programs and activities of the East End and New York City chapters of Slow Food.
