Description
Academy of Hawaiian Arts and MKH Productions present "Waikiki" on Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Chabot College Performing Arts Center in Hayward, CA.

Waikiki" debuts a new performance of original work by renowned kumu hula Mark Keali'i Ho'omalu and the award-winning dancers of the Academy of Hawaiian Arts in Oakland, California. Focusing on the celebrated location, "Waikiki"; this modern interpretation of Hawaiian dance, from impressions of life before Western contact, to its memorable Golden Age, promises to educate, entertain and inspire.
