Quince Contemporary Vocal Ensemble and Grant Wallace Band
Quince Contemporary Vocal Ensemble, an all-female, a cappella contemporary vocal quartet is teaming up with the Grant Wallace Band, a composer/performer collective, to create a concert filled with early American songs, folk-inspired remakes, newly composed works, and a unique blend of tradition and experimentation with an underlying focus on the immense and endless capabilities of the human voice. The program will consist of all new works by contemporary and/or living composers in addition to remixed arrangements of American folk music.
