Little Naps, Mucky The Ducky, The Shortsleeves
Little Naps are the computer pop side project of Mushpot Records band Chairs in the Arno. Jeff Excell and Becca Hsu moved from San Francisco to Brooklyn in pursuit of adventures involving (but not limited to) cupcakes, chiptunes, parks and sweet sweet sunshine. Mucky the Ducky, an idiosyncratic ensemble from Davis, CA, infuse their atmosphere with a whimsical aura created by the group's dynamic set. Beginning as a solo project in 2006, Sean Johannessen, who experiments on trumpet, voice, percussion, and various electronics, is now joined by Garreth Ewing on guitar, John Brumley on keyboards, and Jon Bafus, of Sholi (Quarterstick/Touch & Go Records), on percussion.
