Description
This community-wide event marks the 20th anniversary of the end of communism and the mass emigration of Jews from he former Soviet Union. As a tribute to activists in both Russian and the U.S., the OFJCC will host a panel discussion with moderator Danny Grossman. We will discuss how the Soviet Jewry movement succeeded due to joint efforts between he Refuseniks, Russian Jews who wanted to leave and U.S. activists who started the "Let My People Go" grass roots movement.
