This diverse line-up showcases some of San Francisco's funniest and smartest stand up comics and takes place every 2nd Monday of the month at 7:30pm.
The Monday, August 10th show features the comedy of:
CARLA CLAYY is a native San Franciscan who has spent the last several years making people laugh all over the country. She won the Marshall's Women in Comedy Competition in 2001 and was awarded a guest spot at its Marin County show, sharing the stage with Paula Poundstone, Joy Behar, and Rene Hicks. Carla is a regular at The Punchline and Cobb's and comedy clubs in such hotspots as Modesto and Chico and has shared the stage with Robin Williams.
JOE NGUYEN: Growing up in Georgia as the child of a Vietnamese refugee father and a Jewish mother, Joe Nguyen was destined to be a comedian. After attending Pomona College in Southern California, he moved to San Francisco and began performing stand up comedy. His smart writing, likeable stage presence, and broad range of joke topics make Joe a crowd favorite, appealing to audiences of all backgrounds. Joe is the producer and co-host of Scantily Clad Comedy, a weekly showcase at the Clubhouse in San Francisco every Friday night at 9pm. www.vietjew.com
CHAD LEHRMAN began performing comedy in his hometown of Tucson, Arizona, where he became a regular at Laff's Comedy Club and also hosted the first weekly comedy showcase in downtown Tucson. After a move to the Bay Area, Chad has appeared on NBC's Last Comic Standing, written for the Complete Idiot's Guide to Jokes, and created the popular comedy site SFStandup.com. He currently produces Comedy Speakeasy every Wednesday night at the legendary Purple Onion in North Beach.

NICK LEONARDstarted performing stand up at the beloved Josie's Cabaret in The Castro and has appeared all over the U.S. His comedy graced the prestigious 2004 Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. That same year, he was also voted one of San Francisco's top 10 comics by Karma.com. The former Cosmonaut and International Bon Vivant was the co-producer of the gay comedy showcase, QComedy.
SIMONE CAMPBELL has been keeping people laughing all over the Bay Area for the past two years with her rapid-fire wit and her in your face approach. She recently opened for Jenny McNulty at Russian River Women's Weekend.
