Conway Family Farms Annual Open-Farm Tour
We invite visitors to our small diverse sustainable farm which features a Grade A Goat Dairy & farmstead goat cheese production. Additional offerings include eggs, wool and USDA lamb & goat meat production as well as a commercial blueberry field and small cut flower garden. The ever-changing methods, facilities and processes of this farm make it a 'must-visit, even if you have been before. Visitors can expect day of learning about small acreage farming with plenty of time for discussion, questions and answers. The farm will be open to explore at your leisure from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.or you may take advantage of one (or all) of the many specific guided tour topics that will be available. The farm U-pick blueberry season should be underway (season dependent) and U-pick lavender will be available. . Visit the farm store for farm-raised food and other farm products. Picnic tables are available and paved pathways allow for some disability access.
Join us toward the end of the day for a glass of lavender lemonade and a few cheese samples and, of course, meet 'Helen' the blind farm-dog with a story all of her own.
This is a free event although we are accepting parking donations (suggested $5.00 per car)which will benefit the WSU Small Acreage Program, but allowing for scholarships for aspiring farmers to take advantage of learning opportunities and classes offered.
We love animals, but GAP (Good agricultural practice) do not allow non-farm animals at this farm to ensure consumer food safety rules. Please leave your pets at home and please wear clean shoes not worn at other farms
