Clerestory: "Love and the Knight" presented by NVCM
Sunday, April 26 at 4:00pm, Noe Valley Chamber Music presents Clerestory.
The concert will take place at St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
This all-male vocal ensemble will perform a program entitled "Love and the Knight," a tribute to the music-loving King Charlemagne and his musical legacy in Europe. Beginning with Gregorian chant and the mystical songs of Hildegard von Bingen it continues through the Renaissance and the Romantic masters to songs both sacred and amorous.
Doors open at 3:30pm.
6:00 Post-concert reception
The performance lasts approximately 90 minutes, plus a short intermission. Audience members have the chance to mingle with the performers while enjoying wine and light refreshments immediately following the performance.
TICKETS are $20-25, with a discount for students, seniors and advance purchases. Free for children 12 and under.

Founded in 2006, Clerestory is the Bay Area's acclaimed 8-man vocal ensemble. Clerestory's singers, from countertenor to bass, are veterans of San Francisco's finest professional vocal groups, including Chanticleer, Philharmonia Baroque, American Bach Soloists and others.
