| Description |
Whenever one of the Tank's shows sell out, we always bring it back!
A pretentious filmmaker follows a two man band around Boston in hopes of exposing the dire state of today's popular music and art.
The Beverages tells the story of a a feeble two man band of the same name and a filmmaker, Monty Zuchard, who has set out to exploit their lack of talent. The story begins as a 'how-to' on what not to be if you strive to be a musician, or any kind of an artists for that matter. As time goes on, the Beverages become more dedicated and more original. As a result, they throw Monty's documentary into uncharted waters filled with street performances, open mic action and sleazy music video tycoons.
The Beverages is a cerebral tale filled with independent music and slapstick comedy reminiscent of The Office as far as style and This is Spinal Tap as far as satire. |
