World Institute on Disability presents Ever Widening Circle with an evening of entertainment celebrating disability culture.



Join us for a very special night, as we celebrate the 11th Annual Ever Widening Circle with renowned singer and songwriter Janis Ian, who has recorded such hits as "At Seventeen," "Jesse" and "Society's Child."  In a career that has spanned more than 40 years, Janis has been prolific in writing and recording music that has garnered her 9 Grammy nominations (2 wins) with her songs being recorded by herself and countless others.  In addition to her multi talented musical career, she is also a columnist, lecturer and science fiction writer.



Friday, October 30, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Oakland Marriott City Center,1001 Broadway, Oakland, CA 94607. Individual tickets at $50; groups of 10 or more at $45. All tickets include dessert and tea/coffee. Doors open for the Celebration and Concert at 6:30 pm.
